Opinions and Ideas for FreeWay?

but this is answer enough to people who say, "park XYZ has this thing where you can skip the line - why don't you?"

And this right here is my whole problem with it. I hate the system because it is park-endorsed line jumping. Even though its only a few people I still feel slighted when I get people put in front of me just cause they have a hand stamp. Sure CP's lines are long, but you should expect that coming in. I will never use FreeWay - I'll wait my turn like you're supposed to. *end of traditionalist rant*

People who use Freeway are waiting to ride - just not in a queue. There's a difference between park-endorsed line jumping and a virtual queue. If it was line jumping, people would get their stamp and then immediately go to the front of the line. As long as everyone is given equal access to the system and it remains free, I see it as a positive.

I have to agree that it is not line jumping. Everyone has the opportunity to use Freeway stamps, if they choose not to and stand in the stand-by line, they will wait in line longer, but they will not necessarily wait longer to ride the ride.

I liked the system that Disney had in place for virtual cuing, and it sounds like this is just a less widely spread, less technological, method of doing the same thing.

The people going in front of you wait too. Some times even longer. I got a stamp for MF that wasn't good until late at night. So I waited twice as long as other people to ride.

Exactly the point. If you get to the freeway booth late, you won't get your ride until much later in the day. If Freeway did NOT exist, the wait would be much longer than it is now with 10% MORE people standing in line.

Just wondering what time the "Cart" for FreeWay starts up in the morning?

I want to make sure I am close to MF or WT when they start giving out stamps since they go so fast.

On the 18th, the line for WT was smaller than it was in May or June. The line only started at the merge point. Has anyone else noticed the decreased ridership of WT?

July 11th: Korn, Puddle of Mudd, and Deadsy

Wednesday night Wicked Twister was only at the merge point as well, and this is in July!

Getting a freeway stamp for Wicked Twister is almost pointless sun-thurs.

Went yesterday and got freeway for MF between 6-7.

MF was down for about 5 hours from 2PM till 7:30. Went to fast pass gate at about 8PM and anyone that had not used theirs yet was allowed in.

FYI

Donny, I would suggest not using Freeway on WT, but you should definately use it on MF or Raptor.
