Opening Weekend Events

Cedar Point has posted the event details for Opening Weekend.

It seems Millennium won't be getting a big celebration like Magnum had last year. They are also having a band play in the Jack Aldrich Theater on Sunday, too bad the band couldnt stay all season. ;-) Too bad I can't make it out this year, it seems like a pretty nice weekend, I hope everyone has a great time.

^^ How come Magnum got it's celebration ON opening day, with cake and ice cream and a banner, but Millennium won't be getting anything opening day????

Well last year they had no new ride so they needed some sort of celebration. Shoot the Rapids will be the celebration of opening day this year.

^Exactly. And why not wait till summer when tons of people will be there to celebrate?

I'm gonna shout "Happy birthday, Millennium!!" At the top of the hill on opening day, then go ride STR with a poncho and try to stay warm and dry...........:)
