Opening Week Crowds

I am planning a trip to CP with my friends, and it looks like very early May is our only chance.  Are there normally unbearable crowds on opening day...that would be my guess. What would the following Saturday or Sunday be like (after physics day)...any help is appreciated

Well last year did not see to bad...deponds on weather...i know the newer rides (like my ride wicked twister) will have some lines..

Crowd levels for the first week the park is open are extremely LIGHT..that is also why the park closes early (8p.m.)

As always crowds will even be lighter in the event of rain. About the only "people" you will see in the park the first week of the season are school groups.

Also OPENING DAY IS NOT CROWDED...Every Saturday in JUNE, JULY & AUGUST are more crowded then Opening Day...If the weather is nice go and enjoy the park!

I predict Light to possibly moderate crowds for all 3 of my rides.

Sunday in particular is likely to see light crowds.

Like Old Timer Tim said, most of the people there are school groups. The last couple of hours the park is open most of them leave which yields some very short lines!

Now its looking like I may be going on Mother's Day...will that be especially light?...I hope so!...dont worry, im still taking my mom out on Saturday...
