Opening Day Lines

Ok well I know everyone was talking about Maverick, but its debut has been delayed. Well I was wondering usually how big are the lines on opening day? Especially for MF and TTD.

Although I've never gone this time of year, I'm planning on going the monday after opening day. Should be great! I don't mind a slight chance of rain, that'll just keep the crowds away even more. Is it normally as empty as it looks on the webcams the first week after opening?

I imagine that at worst it will be like a Saturday in July, but who cares, CP will be open again! I know Ill be there and I dont care about the lines. Whatever Im not able to hit I will at some point later this summer :).

"Maverick closed for the summer. Cedar Point and IntaRide found excessive stress to the new ride's footing necessitating extensive ground work. "We have hired work crews around the clock to fix this rides second major structural issue" stated Cedar Points General manager John Hildebrandt in a recent interview "We at Cedar Point are sorely frustrated with the ride manufacturer and will think twice about contracting them to build another ride for our Company." In another interview, Mr. Edwards stated "We at Cedar Point are dissappointed that our ride is disappointing our guests. Our crews are working their hardest to fix problems caused by the ride manufacturer."

Mr. Kinzel had to get a word in on this issue too "I considered Disaster Transport to be my worst business decision. More recently I had decided that Top Thrill Dragster was worse because it drowned Cedar Points image to expectations of downtime. This time the ride can't even get itself off the ground. I am both shocked and appauled by the manufacturer's inability to create a structurally sound ride the first time for our $21 million investment."

I've heard that the longest line on opening day can be at the season pass center.

Usually Millennium Force isn't bad in the morning, but I warn u the season pass center is a mile long^^:)

^I waited an hour and half last year for my season pass on opening day. Thank god I already have it.
