Opening Day Fireworks!

I don't think I've seen this here yet. (Edit-Walt posted it in the news section)

Haha, actually, I have to agree with Cedar Dan here. I already have plans on the 7th :(

I'm there the 13th-17th, so I'm up for a rain delay on the 7th...

No...please don't ask for it to rain on opening day. I'll be there opening day and I want to see the fireworks show. If you're not gonna be there opening day, there is always 4th of July.

I really am sorry, but I continue to hope for rain in Sandusky the week of May 7th. I'll see the Fireworks the next weekend...I'm selfish, but honest.

I'll be outside with a headdress on, pointing towards Sandusky on a map and doing a rain dance on the 7th around 9pm. Sorry but I'm in the same boat as MrScott. I want a rain delay.

The fireworks sound fantastic, as long as you guys don't get the rain delay you're hoping for. :) Now the debate begins over whether I want to watch the fireworks or be in line for TTD or MF.

Stand in line, you'll probably still be able to see them. The fireworks will draw a large crowd which equals lower wait times for the uhh..25%-40% that won't go watch them.

Count me in for the rain delay on the 7th... We are actually expecting to arrive in the area at around 7:30 PM on the 14th.

Seeing the fireworks would make a nice "Welcome to Cedar Point" for us.

Man this sucks I'm going the 13th and I want to see them. Well they sound like a good idea and that picture on the Cedar Point web-site looks really good.

I hope they don't cheap out on them like they did on the 4th of July last year. Those were the worst 4th fireworks I can remember.
