Opening Day!

Hey CP fans, Opening Day is just right around the corner! I was outiside the other day and it was 70 degrees outside so i know its getting warmer. I was just wondering what is your first ride going to be?

Raptor will be the first....can't go wrong with that.

70 degrees, huh? Where are you located? It was 60 in Rochester, NY so thats exciting... Usually it snows until early April here. Has spring really sprung? And to answer your question, my first CP ride will probably be Gemini or Power Tower when we go in June cuz my wife loves those two and I have to appease her after the 6 hour drive.

It was 70 here in Lansing MI. on Friday, although it was very windy (Raptor and Sky Ride would have been down!)

My first ride will probably be Dragster, depending on who I am with that first day I get there!

I'm thinking getting there early, using the Joe Cool to run in and get to Dragster. Then we'll probably hit Magnum for at least a few rides before exploring the other part of the park. It's getting closer, and I can't wait!

I usually start the year off with Millennium Force. This year I'll finally have a Joe Cool pass! Does it help very much getting in there early? or is it still real busy because of other guests?

Since Mr. Magnum, who I usually go to opening day with, probably won't have Joe Cool, the day will most likely start with Magnum until a line starts forming.

It's going to be pretty hard to decide which ride to ride first this year. I'm thinking probably Magnum or TTD. I'm going through major withdraws and need to ride a coaster, and that 70 dergee weather didn't help any. LoL.

I live in sandusky shane, it might not have been 70 but it sure felt warm enough!!

steepdrops- I wasn't discrediting you if thats how that came across. More envying you for having 70 degree weather. And now I envy you even more for living that close to CP! My wife may be going to grad school in Toledo in fall 2005 so I'm hoping to cut my 6 hour drive considerably.

Sam, don't worry I will be there opening day early with Robert. I will have Joe Cool on my pass as well. FatChris , i am guessing I will be running down to TTD as well before i hit Magnun. So try to get in the back of the park so we can all meet.

by the way, does anyone know if they will have Fast Passes (or fast stamps) whatever they call them....for dragster this year. That would be awesome to get to the front of the line on dragster without the wait.

May 11th (9:30, me, sprinting, destination: DRAGSTER)

I can't be for shure, but I can't say yes or no. I am going to say yes because they should have Dragster running a lot better then last year. I won't know though till this year..
