The new smoking area by Paddlewheel Excursions is pretty awesome.

Just to the Left of the Paddlewheel entrance are 3 new covered seating areas with Adirondack style chairs set along the water, promenade style. The entire area is for smokers and is very welcome.

Instead of updating them, they should be adding more. It looks very odd sitting there though. I think its the chairs that look most out of place.

It's hard to tell exactly from the webcam, but it looks like Mantis may have stalled directly prior to the corkscrew.

It did sometime this morning. Pretty sure there were no guests on it.

I was there yesterday, The lines were pretty bad, but it wasnt that crowded I guess, lots of bands and chiors were there though, some were were from Virginia. Me ane a few friends waited about an 2 hours for TTD then ir broke down when two people were ahead of us, it broke down alot yesterday.

Sad I couldn't make it for opening weekend, but it looks like the crowds were heavier than the last few years... I did notice that the Johnsonville Brat deal is now 4.70 for a Brat and Chips. Didn't it previously include a small bottle of pop as well?

^I believe so. It's still a really good deal in my opinion. Mantis was indeed valleyed today. That was pretty funny. Maverick had some issues this morning and some peeps got a rollback on that as well. It was a great weekend at the point overall.. trip report to follow later.

Ok, who tried the new "fresh dough" pizza? Better, worse, or about the same quality?

Who from the forums was on it? (Im relatively new here and don't know faces to people). I noticed that stinky guy in the single riders shirt was on it HA

I tried the new Pizza. Its really good for an amusement park. Take that as you will.

Coffee was a pain to find anywhere but Donut Time and the front of the park is not somewhere we visit often.

So who else waited in the 1:15 long line for a season pass?

There is coffee at the pretzel stand next to Magnum's entrance. I believe it is also offered in Frontier Town at Stockade Refreshment, the place that has elephant ears.

Nothing starts the season better than the first train out of the season AND a rollback!! Good fun! It was quite an awesome opening weekend. Great friends and great times!

I'm in the second row left seat with the red shirt. And Deuce smelled just as bad as I remembered. In fact, his pompousness has gotten worse.
