Opening Day...

I need some information. I am going to the park on opening day. Never been there on opening day. What is the attendance like? is there any differences between this day and any other? what can I expect in general?

With MF in operation and on everyone's mind, and the fact that most people don't have to work on Saturday. My guess is that the park will be "Swamped out of the Gizzard" so to speak. Swamped or not my daughter and I will be there.
P.S. we've never been on opening day either.

I worked at CP for 5 summers and opening day all depends on the new attraction! In 93 when snake river fall opened of course no one rode it because it was cold and the park was slow to moderate. In 91 and 94, when meanstreak and raptor opened, opening day was a mad house with people standing in lines for hours. So with MF opening,I can bet you that you'd wish you would have waited during the week in may to go!!

Thanks, thats the information I wanted to know.. but did not want to hear. Thats what I was kind of thinking.. I was hoping for "no one EVER goes on openin day." But.. I guess we will all have to fight the crowds!.. I know I will be there!
