I may not have been there, but I feel like I was, everything I heard about that day... And I'm sorry. That, It, it's been a long off season. Too much car work and talk, not enough coaster talk and riding. :)

I paln on going to the park alone on opening day, would be cool to meet up with some of you guys so I wasn't alone all day! That way I would have people to tell the ride stories to!

Can i come? i am kinda new to the forum but i have been going to cedar point every season for the past 17 years or so. i grew up at cedar point and it grew up with me. i remeber when gemeni was the big one and avalanche run was new! :) i hope to be in on the fun at raptor 3pm. YAY!

Does anybody have numbers on exactly how many people normally show up on an opening day compared to a regular saturday or maybe how it compares to a halloweekend day?

Since no one ever did give a definite a.m. meeting place then it looks like 3pm at Raptor for sure. I will be there o-c with my usual group of GTTP'ers/CP'ers (aka my groupies ;)) As in ODs of past I again have the ends of my hair dyed green for my baby Raptor. See you then! I can not wait to see more of my fellow CP employees and kick that Sandusky sky!!! :) :) :)

(More so since I already raced for it on Thursday ;))

So did the meeting happen? I got in line for Raptor at around 2:40, hoping I'd be out by 3. I was out at 3:15, and I asked the guy sitting in front of the queue if he had seen a big group around 15 minutes ago, and he told me no.

So what happened?
