Opening Daily May 9th?

I just saw a Miejer commercial, advertising TTD, and at the end it said "Opening Daily May 9th". This might just be over my head, but did I miss something? Is it closed? Or were they just talking about the park?

the park is closed right now, they open daily for the rest of the season on the 9th.

It is closed for this week until Friday.

They have private events all this week. On Friday it'll be open daily until September first, and HalloWeekends starts on September 19. It's open weekends form September first through October 26.

does anyone have any speculations as to what the crowds will be like on friday? base it on past experiences if you have gone on this particular day. i'd appreciate the input.

I'm rather interested also, as I'm from PA and I'm making a trip up. I've already booked my hotel room and everything.

Right now it looks like rain on Friday, so the park will probably be virtually empty. I'm still going on Friday anyways, regardless of the weather.

There is a Red Cross Event on Wednesday...ie Tomorrow...that is the only special event till May 9th.
