I've been to CP each weekend since opening weekend and each visit my family has had problems using the all season dining plan. For some reason our cards aren't working at several places. Has anybody else had this problem?
I've been to guest services twice. Last weekend and this weekend. Guest services says that the cards are fine and that we're in the system.
It's been incredibly frustrating and has twice led to lengthy waits for food while the food stand manager calls guest services to verify our accounts. I waited over 10 minutes last weekend at Corral and almost 20 minutes this weekend at Coasters.
I understand CP is doing something new with the all season dining plan and a few kinks are expected with any new program or policy but it's gotten ridiculous and while I feel the all season plan is a great value for my family; I'm really concerned that CP seems unable to address the matter.
Yesterday we went to guest relations first thing after our problem of waiting 20 minutes at Coasters on Saturday. They claimed that they fixed our problem and then Sunday we had a problem again at Coasters where one of our passes was not showing the all season plan. Luckily the manager took care of the problem by overriding the register and didn't make me wait for another call to guest services.
that sucks, I know what you going through. I had the same problem happen last season at six flags great adventure. each time I went to use my meal, they told me I didn't scan into the park, therefore, my meal credits were never added for the day. and each time I had to make a visit to guest relations, at least for you, they called.
this season, opening weekend at the point, I tried to add the season pass dining, cedar point wouldn't let me add it because I have a dorney park platinum pass, kinda pissed about that, being that I have a few trips planned this summer,
My boyfriend and I have purchased the all season dining plan as well and have not had any issues either. The first weekend they weren't even scanning our passes, just taking our word for it and giving us the meal. I understand they were having issues overall with scanning the passes at some stands.
As a side note, I wrote in a suggestion on CP's website that they offer some healthier options or maybe allow you to substitute fries for something like a side salad or fruit cup. To my suprise I got a call back from someone in their food services department and while he didn't have a date, he did say this is something they are working on in addition to adding a few more restaurants (he mentioned Johnny Rockets specifically).
I agree that healthier food options would be big plus.
Coasters sell a grilled chicken (with Mayo and Cheese) and I don't understand why they don't include the grilled chicken sandwich on the plan. Heck; my wife would be willing to probably pay a little more for healthier options.
The Coca Cola marketplace near the petting zoo has fresh fruit, granola and juice.
I'd love to see CP offer apple slices, carrots or other veggies in place of fries.

I follow a vegan diet, and Johnny Rockets has the best vegan meal in the park, the Streamliner! JR also sells garden salads, so the idea of adding them to the list has me excited! Thanks for this info, CoastRlover, I will also send in a suggestion. I would certainly purchase the meal plan if it included a salad option, or my beloved Streamliner...

Glad to see Soak City added to the list! This was one of the places i was tweeting the GM about. Not saying it had anything to do with it, but like it was stated above, let them know what you would like to see and maybe it will happen!
