One new long belt on MF!

Just for a heads up, we found a brand new long belt on MF yellow train. 3rd car back row lake side. I'm 6'4'' 236 and i pulled roughly 5-6 inches.

I have a feeling a lot of new belts have or will be showing up. A friend and I were in the yellow train back row and found new seatbelts and I was able to pull a lot more slack than I can remember.

Good news to hear about this.

I found several new belts on both the yellow and blue trains while riding this last weekend and they all had a lot more slack than the old belts.

I went Labor Day weekend, and the "new" belt on the test seat was shorter than the old one. I wish they would make up their mind instead of this crapshoot of riding Millie!!!!

It's easier to just go on a diet and start working out. It was such a relief this summer not having to worry about the belts on MF.

I got an old belt on my one ride this weekend and actually could pull a few inches of slack.

Blue train has some nice new belts near the front. I usually only have about an inch of slack and these seats have me more than three inches.

Is this a way for the park to mess with people? Putting the same size belts on all of the trains would just seem to make sense. Are they replacing the ones that have worn out peice by peice or something?

I'm sure all the belts will be replaced eventually. I also noticed the longer belts this weekend. They are now longer than TTD's

I wonder if Intamin lightened their restrictions on the ride or if Cedar Point just got tired of people complaining?

The smart money would be on the former, possibly based on blow back due to the latter.

I'm willing to bet that the belts have shrunk over time from getting wet and drying over and over.

Ride on, MrScott!

Sweet, when I went the week before labor day I rode MF more times then normal thinking that I would not be able to ride it again this year (since I barely fit with shorts, so pants were likely a no no) so now I have hope for riding MF this Friday.

So, is the line shorter now with the crew able to move faster?

Top thrill dragster, I hope that's right about the lines moving faster. I will be so glad to see a quick moving line from now on......

Tambo, heres what I ment: My shorts I wear to the park are light weight, and thin. The jeans, sweatpants or fleece pants I will wear to the park this fall are all thicker then my shorts, and I was barely fitting on the ride this summer (not that Im complaining, this is the first summer since 2003 Ive been able to ride the thing) so if the belts were lengthened even a little, it will make up for the extra circumference that my heavier pants will add to my waist..
