On Point March 1 Blog Entry - Sky Ride, etc!
In the latest blog entry, T&T stated that the park opens in 8 weeks. According to my math there are 9+ weeks left 'til May 6. 8 weeks puts opening day the last week in April. Unless there are 8 days in a week, in which case my weekends have been to short! Perhaps CP is opening a week early for SP holders as PKI did in '05?
Why does everyone keep thinking that there's going to be another ride in 2006??
2005/2006: Cedar Point - Millennium Force
2007/2008/2009: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom - Tomorrowland Speedway
2008: Hard Rock Park - Maximum RPM! Opening Supervisor
2008/2009: Universal Orlando - Men in Black: Alien Attack Team Leader, Guest Services Coordinator
I think most have accepted the fact that we're only getting one ride this year. T&T were probably just trying to prevent a flood of emails, since they said they'd be showing us "other" stuff around the park - such as landscaping, lighting, bathrooms and the like.
