On a Sunday, what time do the "scary" costumes come out into the main midway?

Last year, I remember scary characters jumping out and scaring small children after dark (3 and 4 year olds) and thought it was totally inappropriate (the kids were crying, yet they continued - this was NOT in a haunted house) I may be taking my Godson in a few weeks on a Sunday. What time do the general areas stop being kid friendly? Thanks.

The fright zones are clearly marked. The "general" areas won't have any scaring going on by screamsters.

I would think a little before 7 PM, when the Screamsters are all walking down the midway to the Luminosity stage, you may run into some scary folks on the midway. Before and after that, the main midways should be clear.

Occasionally after dusk, there are some Screamsters present in the Main Midway Gardens. I would steer clear of the gardens if possible. Remember, Planet Snoopy and Kiddy Kingdom will both be open for small children from open to close. Camp Snoopy is open for children during the day, but transforms into part of CarnEvil after dark.
