Uhm, how does the ride listing being removed prove that it is staying?

The more likely scenario is that it has finally sold and will be transferred to it's new owners shortly.

It's true Ocean Motion is staying

from Cedar Point's facebook;

"Fans of Ocean Motion, your ship has come in…well actually it never left...but Ocean Motion will be setting sail from a new port in 2011. Look for it near the front of the park close to the former site of the Demon Drop."

Great news! Those red flags up front did mean Ocean Motion was moving there afterall.

Wow, and I thought this thread was just someones wishful thinking.

I think keeping Ocean Motion is a great idea, and moving it to a higher traffic area a much better idea. Windseeker will bring people back to that dark corner and Ocean motion will be appreciated a lot more in its new home!

Well currently you can watch it being dismantled on the Windseeker cam. I highly doubt they will wast time putting up a new cam for a project that small. Everyone knows Ocean Motion, knows exactly what it looks like and exactly how it works, there no excitement to watching it be rebuilt. Though I do hope to see some pictures posted from time to time on facebook and hopefully pictured of landscapeing and theameing put in that area. Like the current dock posts and rope that it sits around not. Im hopeing for something a little more exiting!

Themeing + cedarpoint = epic fail.

But I agree that the ride would look great with more decor.

Well I guess moving it will make the randomness of Hurricane Hannah's or whatever that restraunt is called up there, finally fit in. Well as much as a tropical "themed" thing can on a main midway. :)

Ocean Motion already has theming. And I hope she stays. :)

Hahaha. I see what you're getting at Mike. Well I was actually just talking about the general pirate ship theme tie in with the food stands "island theme". But I do hope Ocean Motion's "theme" stays :)

I didn't see any updates from the 2nd about OM. Have they even started putting it back together?

There are still pieces of it sitting under the stadium.

And they said the old demon drop site is still grass. So, we didn't miss anything.
