Old topics... what not to post.

OK, you'll have to help me out on this, but as boredom sets in, I think we have to build a list of things not worth talking about. The rough guideline I have in mind is that if we beat it death in the last four months, we'll add it here.

1. Cedar Point does not have a space problem.

2. Six Flags Ohio vs. Cedar Point. Different target demos with regards to regions and income.

3. Disaster Transport. No matter how much you think it sucks, we don't need to hear anymore about how to save it or how to tear it down.

4. Building things into the lake. It ain't gonna happen, since they don't own the lake, and I doubt ODNR is anxious to have someone further impact the fragile coastline.

5. Coaster X at Park X is better than Coaster Y at Coaster Y. When the rides or parks have something in common, I can accept this. But rides that aren't even finished? Come on... no one here is a fortune teller.

What else?

I should also mention that I've asked the moderators to nuke any topic that doesn't have a descriptive title. In other words, no "What If?" or "Now that..." or whatever.

Understand it's not that I don't think people's opinions or thoughts aren't important, but I do challenge people to approach new discussions and keep them coming back for more new discussions. There's no reason to come back for the same old stuff.

You should set a time limit to talk about it maybe? Like it was said on the old CP Place, many new people might want to know about it.

If people can complete the list above, I'll make that FAQ we talked about.

Maybe this is just a personal thing, but what should CP build next? topics that always end in the fact the CP NEEDS a B+M floorless coaster, even though they probaly have never been on one and SFO is bulding BKF next year. *** This post was edited by JeremyG on 1/6/00. ***
How about: Is the magnum sinking?
I don't see anthing wrong with talking about new CP projects past this year. We are all looking forward to MF, but I can't talk about it every day. Like I have said before, it's fun to imagine what CP will look like in 2,3 5, 10 years. We have no idea what CP will get, but we can speak our minds. Maybe someone will listen to our wants. I have read many times that CP builds rides based on what the public wants. If we want a floorless, maybe we will get one.
Hmmm... maybe we should have archived the articles from the old site? :)

6. What will the height restriction be on Millennium Force?

I'm not saying that future rides should not be disscused it just does not need to be talked about everyday.
Agreed. It's cool.
