Old Skyride cabins

I was looking for old pictures of Skyride with Google. I didn't find much, but there are a few I'd like to share.

Does anyone know what the booth is for in front of it?

It looks like the booth in front of it is for tickets in order to ride. When did the park go to pay-one-price?

It was for tickets to the ride. One price came around 70 ish (71?)

Yes, 1970.

Wristbands were used through the 1973 season. 1974 was the first year that POP was instituted.

Yes, I guess a clarification should be made. 1970 was the first year that ride-all-day tickets were available. It was also the first year for Starlight admission.

Could you imagine having to pay for a ride on TTD or MF. CP would probably charge $10 a ride. (I'd still do it! :))
