Old Character Ride Signs

So I was searching through the fourms but couldn't find an answer. Why did they remove the character ride signs. They looked amazing and corney at the same time.

Can someone hit me with some knowledge attack!

The park put up the new signs because these new ones had information about who shouldn't ride, minimum requirements, thrill level, etc. I believe the new signs were put a little bit before the Cedar Point safety craze (circa autospiels, air gates, seatbelts, etc). So the new signs probably were pushed by both the state and the lawyers.

On a side note, I always thought the Jr. Gemini sign was a bit creepy.

Lol yes I know that it is a rocket. I always thought the boy looked really creepy for some reason. I never really thought about that rocket until you mentioned it. ;)

The rocket kind of looks like Patrick from SpongeBob, minus the arms.
