Old Banshee parafanalia

Hey, you might recognize this topic from Coasterbuzz too ;) I just found out today (which is sad) that Mantis wasn't originally called Mantis. I was curious if anyone still had pictures of the logo or better yet, merch from the Banshee? I'd be willing to pay exorbedant (sp?) prices! (well maybe not that big, but I'd still pay ;) )

You didn't know that it was originally called Banshee. But they switched the name before to Mantis before it opened.

I still have the season pass promo postcard they sent me back in 95 with the full side Banshee logo on it. It's pretty miniscule I know,but it's one of my most prized CP collectibles.

Somehow Banshee was so much better of a name than Mantis, that ride just doesn't seem like a bug to me for some reason.

If Jeff wants to add it to this site,I could scan both sides and email it to him or if Walt wants it for his as well. Let me know guys.

I have a Banshee t-shirt. It's been worn once or twice, but other than that it's in good condition. That along with my VertiGo shirt makes two of the most recent "lost rides".

I have the "edited" Banshee shirt -- the original Banshee logo on the front crossed out, and the Mantis logo on the back. These were given to employees in the '96 season as a lot of prizes for employee off-hours events.

I have a Banshee shirt, as well. I've never worn it, and want to figure out some way of "framing" it.

I have the Banhsee shirt, I have worn it before so I am looking for a new one in gem mint condition. I have the press kit, I also have the postcard. What I did with the postcard was attach it over the Mantis logo of the 1996 Calendar I have hanging up in my room. I have also seen the big bash cups and shirts. I also have the button. I want to get one more button and one more shirt.

I have both Banshee T-Shirts the original and the employee as well as the Post Card, Pin, and the one and only Banshee Stencil that they auctioned off at Coaster Mania 96! It says "Deliver To Cedar Point Project Banshee". I'm still looking for the Press Kit.

I only have the pin, but I have seen two different shirts. I saw the normal Banshee shirt and that same shirt but with a huge X over it.
