Ohio Bicentennial

While at the park yesterday I noticed they are painting the Ohio Bicentennial logo on the barn. It's on the side facing Thunder Canyon, maybe the other side too, I didn't check. Maybe our Area 51 is something for that? A ride? A sign?

It would be pretty safe to say Cedar Point is pretty close to being one of the top places that draw people to Ohio. I think it is cool they are painting the logo on the barn....and maybe something else, who knows.

I've been seeing signs like that for a couple years now. I believe the earliest was March of 2000.

Cedar Point, the cure for the Summertime blues!

Little known fact about the barn logos. You have to apply with the State of Ohio for a logo to be painted on your barn. The State will then paint your barn for free. One of the major requirements is that your barn is either in a highly visible place or in a very scenic venue.
