How would you like to be responsible for repainting this thing someday?

Unbelievable.

Should be FUN!! I especially like the looking down at the twist, pic. If anything it lessened my fears of the ride.
Now looking down the up side...that's scary looking!!(I'm glad I won't be going down that side)

Well, I think that it has now been proven (with the picture looking down) that the tower is in fact NOT leaning. LOL, like it ever would lean that much.

Everyone I showed that picture to has sworn they will never set foot on that thing. I wonder if posting those pictures was such a great idea? :-)

Who knows. Maybe the line won't be as long as I fear...

I showed the picture looking down the 270 spiral to a couple of my co workers. One, who is a licenced pilot, smiled and said "oh yes". The other, who's not a huge fan of coasters, said "Dear god, NO!" My wife asked me when were getting season passes :) Oh yes, this will be fun.

I may just have to not go to work for a few days in early May and make the trip out to CP from New York. Damn...the top looks just incredible.

MF&WTer...get your Monty Python quotes correct. =)

"What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?" At which point, Arthur, King of the Britons, replies, "African or European?"...when wanting to cross the Bridge of Death.

ACTUALLY, he says "What do you mean, an African or European swallow?" if you're gonna wax intellectual about it. Oh yeah, the pics are super.

There's a new arial picture on CP's website. Looks down from TTD to Power Tower. And I though Power Tower was big.http://www.topthrilldragster.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/ttd/photo/index.cfm

I don't think that pic was taken from the top, because you can see the track is out of line with the picture. Unless of course the tower is in fact leaning and towards Millennium Force.

I am sure it was meant to try to show you how much higher on TTD one will be. As opposed to how high one is on Power Tower.

Well, wait, if it wasn't taken from on top of Dragster where was it taken? Do you think that they got a heilicopter out there right next to it? Pluse why didn't they just take the picture from the top of TTD?

No, just the crane probably. Why it wasn't taken from the top of Dragster, I don't know, but the photo obviously wasn't taken from Dragster.

Its pretty obvious ALL of the pictures were not taken from atop TTD, they were taken from a crane. Why would someone get out of a crane bucket, hop onto a roller coaster 420 feet in the air to take pictures when you can get the same results from staying in the crane. Its the same with the picture taken of TTD over Magnum.

Sheesh.

Steelrider33, I agree. But you have to understand. . . in order for some people to get more than 230 posts in less than a month, sometimes its necessary to post not so necessary things.

I think a webcam on top of Dragster is in order. What better way to showcase the park than from the tallest ride there?
