Offseason Pictures

I was just looking around the site abit and stumbled apon some new off season photos in the gallery. I would have to say the one that surprised me the most was the Waveswinger. It looks kinda spooky.

It kinda looks like some sort of torturing device......
Oh wow, I didn't even know there was new off-season pics. Yes I do agree Waveswinger looks a little odd.

Sheesh, I wouldn't recognize it if it weren't for the "Frontier Trail" sign... Scary stuff.

I know this has been asked before, forgive me, but how does one get off-season pictures?

The lagoon underneath Iron Dragon is shallower than I thought. It looks like only about 2 or 3 feet deep all around.

Does anyone know how they drain and fill the lagoons?

nice pictures.iteresting how they totaly strip down the rides in the winter, but other parks just cover theres up.this is just anether example of how cedar point really does take care of there rides.
How do you get in the park to take photos? I'm thinking you can't just say hey, I'll be taking photos today, thanks. and walk in...right???
Good question JoeE, but I also wonder what happens to all those carp when they drain the lagoon. Do they all end up back out in Lake Erie?

With as odd as those fish are, I wouldn't be suprised if they just got up and walked away...

I LOVE the Gemini

That does look SPOOKY!
The level of the water is controlled by a pump that is loctaed next to Iron Dragon. If you look as you are going up the stairs to the platform its right under the steps in the water.
It pumps the water over to the marina where you can see it running out when it is running. Its the pipe in the north-east corner of the marina that is usally dumping out water *** This post was edited by Lake54321 on 3/18/2001. ***
If you know somebody in PR, you can request a winter tour. During this tour you can get your pics
I would be up for a tour next winter. Can anyone please get me in one? Please?

Thanks
