Official Y2K CP Place Meeting Day
I started this thread in the Meeting section and it flopped like a wet pancake. Will someone please pick a day so we can have an offical GTTP meeting day. Keep in mind that no matter what day you pick there are going to be people who can and can't go.

We can always have several! I'll definitly be there closing weekend! I say we designate that as one of the meeting dates!

Closing weekend seems like the best bet for me, as that's the only time I'm sure Steph and I will be there (and staying on site).

I don't have much of a voice yet on this board but.., September 22nd... September 22nd *cough*cough*. Even if this isn' the day, I hope to meet some people there.

all i know is this..i want to get back out there at LEAST twice more this year and if i can make it to either one of those gatherings i will. but the Labor Day meeting really DOES need to be earlier in the weekend. how about the day before Labor Day, when no one has to get up and go to work the next morning? we would need to leave to drive home the morning of Labor Day, so....
(don't tell Dark Time Now, but i'm just gonna say "Hey, let's go to the Point this weekend" and get in the car!!! hope it works!!) so let's get this thing set and ready to go if we can!!!

The Phabulous Phoenix Phall Phun Phest is simply a park sponsored enthusiasts event held at Knoebel's every October. ERT on Phoenix, Twister, etc. It's usually held the Saturday of CP closing weekend, but since CP is open one weekend longer, it's the weekend before.

Here's an idea....
With all the dates being tossed about why don't we have a DAILY meeting time and place beginning on Sept. 1.
ANY GTTPointers at the park could go to the meeting spot and hook up.
I suggest 7 p.m. as this time will work for every day from Sept 1 (we could have an earlier meeting time on the first two Bonus Weekends as the park is only opened till 8---how about 4p.m. on those days) till the end of the season, and I suggest the Ball Fountain on the Main Midway.
Suggestions, feedback, what do you think?

That is the best idea I have heard since CP and Intamin got together.

Daily meeting sounds like a good idea. I'm curious about closing weekend though. I'll be at the Breakers for the entire last weekend too. Is anyone else planning on being there for the whole thing?
I'll be at the park the day before Labor Day, and would like to meet some more GTTP'ers.

still trying to convince my man that CP is a better trip than Deer Forest in PawPaw any day...i think he's afraid if we go to Ohio, i won't wanna come back!!! i am still hoping to make it sometime before October though!! i like the every day meeting time. makes it easy to hok up with people. good idea, Tim!!
