well first of all you have to give them the right web address ddogg! The correct address is......

This will work
Nice enough, but I hope they offer more than just the one wallpaper! Maybe they'll switch it around like they say they will the videos.

I can't get the CP website to work at all right now! (www.cedarpoint.com is 404)
Maybe, just maybe, they are finally updating the site. The Magnum 10th year anniversary has been up there for a long time! It's time for CP to redesign their entire site!

Just my opinion.

The web site is back up now and the URL works. And, when you right click the picture and hit set as wallpaper, you actually ARE downloading it, it just automatically choses the filename "Internet Explorer Wallpaper" and puts it in the windows folder, or something similar. This is useful to know if you set wallpaper like that and want to send it to a friend.
I was able to download the high-quality mantis POV, and it is mind-blowingly good compared to the jerky, postage stamp sized stuff that you usually see. I think that it was worth downloading the 12MB (even with my 28.8 modem!) It looks like something you would see on TV.
I wonder when it was filmed because the video doesn't have a brake on the drop.
It was probably filmed soon after it was built and tested. The only problem I have with the video was the time of day! It should have been done @ noon so there aren't as many shadows!
I believe this POV comes from America's Greatest Coster Thrills vol 2 (I believe that is the title). It looks very familliar to me. Anyone else recognize it?

It took me a couple hours to download it, but it was worth the quality.

Those Coaster Thrills videos are all stock video provided from the parks. I don't think any of them are actually produced by the production company themselves.

The forthcoming Discovery specials should have some new stuff, especially of the Force (Steph and I were on that train).

So, Jeff, are you saying that it is the same POV from that video or not. I'm confused. ;-)

It probably is the same. The one that has Magnum has it pre-profile and pre-Soak City. I'm fairly certain that Soak City is much older than DVD, so it's old stuff on those tapes. I have copies of some POV, but I haven't posted them (hey, if Cedar Point has the bandwidth, let them pay for it).
