The name of the company, Cedar Fair, does not need to change just because we may sell Valleyfair. Sure that's how we got the name, but it does not mean to lose it should we get rid of that park. You don't want all these name changes to happen, anyway. Marketing mess, if you ask me.
And I do think "fanboys" can cook some ideas up, if the thought is there. You'd be surprised.

Interesting. I would have figured that NASA would just tack onto Wright Patterson.
Great news for Sandusky though. A good Space museum in Northern Ohio would draw some pretty sizeable crowds.

Not to mention that every job they might generate would be more than welcome to the gazillion engineers who wouldn't mind a steady paycheck.

Interestingly the article provided no information on land purchase, just that an new entrance would be built off Sheid road which is rather south of Kalahari. If I am thinking of the right road, Sheid already goes to NASA. I remember a few years back making a wrong turn on one of those roads and dead ending at a US government fence. However, the article did not mention any land purchases or acrage. The airport was just a wish of NASA and I understood it as something they would not build but would hope the county would provide. The land between Kalahari and what you can see of the NASA dome is rather small compared to the other side of the facility. NASA already has a lot of land blocked off and beyond their fence on the other side is lots of farm acreage. I believe that may be their move. Granted they may hit a lot of road blocks with the land owners...
Rocket testing sounds like fun, I'm curious about that.

Well, they may already anyways, depending on whether you believe in the Roswell conspiracy or not. As well as reverse engineering Alien technology for space flight.:)

They do need to change their name.

Why would they need to change the name? That would be a real hassel for them and would cost them a bit of money to change all the logos and signs at the parks and and the new HQ, not to mention the patent/trademark problems.

I had made a joke about name changing in the News Forum, but seriously they don't need to change their name. They just did it a few years ago after the Paramount Purchase. They added Entertainment company. I don't know if it is just and added moniker or a full change, but still no need to change it now.
Yes Valley fair is a historical part of the name, but money is money and what turns the world is money. So I f Valley fair needs to go it will, and the legacy will continue. Dropping the Fair out of Cedar Fair, would be like dropping your last name because your father passed away. The name is part of you and be it good or bad memories, the name is part of your legacy.

For what it's worth, drove past the land across from Kalahari, the Sale and Lease signs are still posted and it has been several months for any sale to be posted, so what ever land NASA obtained if any is not that particular land parcel.
