Off-season withdrawl relief

For those of us that are expecting a wintery landscape soon and can't visit the park, what do you do?

For me, I'd have to say the best thing is at the local planetarium. Duing one of the shows they do this thing call the mobis wheel. (They use a $1 million dollar Digistar II projecter that is capabile of annimaing dots and line. The Mobis wheel is a circle with a half twist in it. The projecter annimates the circle so you ride around it. If you stand up, it reminds me of the Manits. First going down the drop, after the twist, it looks like Manits does in the loop. It is really cool. Another cool thing is if you look around the planitarium, the stars are flying all around too. It's no coaster, but it sure is cool :)

Millennium Force - world's first and greatist gigacoaster!
i just drink...a LOT ;)...no seriously, here in Chicago there is a DisneyQuest and they have the coaster simulators, so i think this year i will do that when the pain gets to be too much to handle. although, i DO have this whole U2 tour thing to distract me this year....

---May 2001..the month CP re-opens and U2 comes back. it's like i died and went to Heaven.
Well I've never done this before, but I went to Lansing today and went to the Lansing Mall (was trying to go to the Meridan Mall but actually ended up going to both) and I rode this coaster simulation where I got to design the track with turns and inversions already made and you just choose which ones in which order. It was nothing like a coaster but was fun anyway. They are suppose to be opening a whole coaster simulation store in the mall where some department store use to be, it's actually pretty big so that should be cool to check out.

magnum of MF now that is a real question.
Well, besides telling everybody I know everyday how many days are left until the season opens, I usually kick it on my computer with RCT. Lately, though, my girlfriend and I have been attending some Cavs games, and well, come mid-February, the true baseball season will begin when pitchers and catchers report for the Indians. GO TRIBE!
--Christmas is almost here. Cedar Point Season Passes make a great gift for the ones you love!

Count me in as a skier. I go to Holiday Valley in Ellicotville N.Y. often, but I've actually been to many more ski resorts than I have to different amusement parks.
Skiing all the way here as well. Actually I "skiboard" (those short little skis you see). They are awesome for doing tricks and stuff. Other than that, well, I don't really know, I guess just do homework and stuff...

ive been playing rct and working a lot of overtime.
I tried skiing once, that was 3 years ago and I wasn't too good at it. I plan on going this winter and learning how to ski a lot better. To get me through this winter I've been playing RCT and recreating some coaster tracks of real coasters, and making them more like the real thing. This winter I'm trying to convince my parents to take us to California this winter to check out Knotts Berry Farm and Six Flags Magic Mountain. I really want to see how Mantis compares to Riddler's Revenge. I want to go on Ghostrider too! If that won't work I'll try to convince my parents to take us to Florida so I can experience the 300 foot Skycoaster in Kissime.

Nick G. Do you go to the Challet in the metroparks? SAme here if you do. Now if only the tobagan chute were 310 foot tall and had A 122 degree banked turn.
