Hi,
I've been lurking around this forum for awhile and have really enjoyed everyone's posts.
I was at the park the weekend of 20-21 for my family's annual yearly visit and had a great time as always. I did however witness something a little odd and off-putting while I was drying off by the entrance of Thunder Canyon. A man who appeared to be in his early to mid 20's was standing by the area where rider's shoes are kept. At first I thought he was looking for his shoes and thought nothing of it. As I continued to watch I noticed that he was picking up women's shoes... Only women's shoes... He appeared then to reach his hand inside them as if to check for something and then place them back where they were. This caught my attention and I was really watching him closely at this point. I watched until he picked up another pair of clearly women's shoe, reach his hand inside, put the shoes back and smelled his hand.
At this point I walked over to retrieve my shoes that were stored in the same general area of this guy and we exchanged looks. He was met by a group of people getting off the ride and that was the last I saw of him..
Anyone else ever witness something like this? Creeped me out...
You were probably witnessing a thief looking for cash, cell phones, anything of value. Then came across a pair of shoes that made him wonder what the hell he just put his hand into, lol.
Or....he is just a sick, twisted individual!
The stuff you will see at the park if you just sit for a little while and people watch. There is always extra free entertainment to be had
You should've thought of something clever to ask him....what would Ron White have said to him, lol

Eww that is disgusting! lol. Or like JW said, he was looking to steal something. Either way, he sounds like a creep.
My sister in law had her shoes stolen out of the bins while we were on Thunder Canyon a few years ago.
GO IRISH!!
If anyone wants my stinky shoes, they can have them. Though, I take no responsibility if they pass out and hurt themselves.
