I will be there with my Halloween group (another fetish of mine:)) on the 6,7,8 of October and would love if some of the GTTPointers would join us..We have a big BBQ planned along with hitting all the haunts and COASTERS..Let me know if anyone is interested in hooking up so I can plan the right amount of food..I will supply the hotdogs and chips..you supply your own beverages..Hopefully will hear from a few hear..

wish i could be there, JS!! i'll be there in spirit as usual...have a couple dogs and beers for me. my next weekend off will probably be next year at this time, so i have to pass. again. sigh...

Not sure.. May be there with the little monster.. I made a promise to myself to only take her to CP once a year, but I think she'd have WAY too much fun to skip it.

On that note, how are the haunted houses as far as children go? She's 5.. Don't want her blamaing me for it years down teh road and paying $50k a year in therapy.

We took my 9-year cousion through the manor. In all the houses, nobody is allowed to touch you. She was pretty scared but if you tell the people not to jump out, they won't. The fear went away about 30 seconds after we were out though and she was as happy as ever. The op commented that even 4 year olds were going through it. Part of it can get sort of clastraphobic (sp) though, because a bunch of little girls in front of us got scared and tried to go backwards!

I will be there the 7th with some family and friends - unfortunately I'll be there with a broken ankle :(.

But hey, now I get to experience the joy of using the handicap gates!!! ;)
