Ocean motion is now up for sale. So I guess moving the ride to another location in the park, is now out of the question.

There is no confirmation that this is CP's, and Ital has used Cedar Point images before to advertise a ride that is not actually Cedar Point's (Chaos).

However, the info does seem to add up, both with the rehab work done to it and the date of installation.

Nope...It's cedar points. They(cp) replaced the boat frame last year, and it is listed in the ride info.

Like I said, there is no confirmation (i.e. an official from the park has not come out and said "Yes Ocean Motion is up for sale") however all signs point toward it being Cedar Points.

I guess we know where the Starflyer is going. ;)

Why would the park come out and say it's for sale? It's just a random flat ride in the park, it's not a huge ride. Besides that, they MAY just be replacing it. It is kinda old.

Kinda bummed about this if it's not replaced. There is yet another ride my daughter can't ride in the park. Not only that, but I have always thought ocean motion looked perfect in it's current spot.I know that it probaly needs to be relocated due to the new 2011 attraction, but there are plenty of places in the park to relocate it to.

Not only that, but the ride has boobs......:)

They've been deboobifying that part of the park for years now.

Sweet! Seeing that Ocean Motion carries a 39" height requirement I'm glad to see 2011's attraction will be aimed at the teen market, its not like there's enough of those in the park.

I feel my hand hitting my forehead and me uttering the phrase "Oh geez, not this again."

It's either that or now that Snoopy is turning 60 they are bringing back VertiGo to scare a little bit more life into him!

If it is a star flyer like suggested in the construction threads, why remove a ride? They could put the new ride in demon drops old site.

I can understand why they are waiting until next month to announce the 2011 ride, but why haven't they announced the height requirement yet!? What is so hard about that? How will I explain to my yet-to-be-conceived children that they might not let babies on the ride? And what color will it beeeeee?

I don't think Chaos will be going anywhere next year.

However Ocean Motion could be on the chopping block. We will see though.

I just hope CP doesn't continue to remove all of its flats.:(
