Nylon Wheels?

Does anyone know if CP with install the nylon wheels on MF or continue using the steel wheels. MF is still a great ride without the nylon whells, but it is so much better with.

Here is my theory.... Probably wrong but I just love to speculate

In early 2001 when they had the nylon wheels on it was very loud and squeaky. Not Until the trains were "broken in" for the year the squeaking stooped even with the nylon wheels on. At the end of 2001 the trains appeared very poor shape unlike in 2000 when they started out with the poly ones.

My guess is for now they just want to break in the ride with the poly ones to reduce stress on the trains. When summer rolls around hopefully we will see the nylon ones on. I hope this happens because right now it still feels to me like it running very sloppy and slow and that was in 70 degree temps yesterday.

Good theory, but didn't Jeff say something about Monty Jasper telling him that they "finally found the perfect wheels for all conditions"? If so, they could stay with these current wheels the whole year.

Stress on the trains? Did they recently get married, move, start a new job or have children?

Went today and I thought it was running in excellent form! Nice to see the three-train operation running, and has a gret run on yellow to end the day :)

If you're like me and you think Cedar Point should get the B/M Flyer in 2004, give me a "Hell Yeah!"

Yellow train was jealous that Red got to go out with Blue while it sat on the transfer. Created a very stressful situation for Blue since Blue likes to run behind Yellow.

I should have used the words "wear and tear." Those trains had many cracks in the metal bodies near the end of last year. Some of the back fins on the cars were pulled off probably because they were so cracked. Someone even wrote in marker "crack" and pointed to one on the train. That was just what was visible, the chassis and whatever else could have been beat up as well.

Mikey-I rode in yellow once this year and it was running good as well, slow but good. It's sounds like they got the 3 train op going smooth again :).
