OK guys.,. take a look at some of the gallery pics of the staging areas over at point pixels.. Some of the new pics inlcude some parts that look like they might be steps that will be mounted on the side of the lift hill.. not to mention, a large coil of cable... Anyways.. check it out.. could make for another interesting discussion!
Its a small coil of cable and not the kind used for a cable lift. The steps could be for any kind of catwalk, along the LIMs. You will be launched during this ride ;)

They could also be steps into and out of a station. And a cable can be used for launch, lift or one of the two other cable powered rides.

Well first off, that cable is definately not big enough to be a cable lift.
Second, Some of us felt that this coaster was going to be a LIM/LSM lift rather than a straight launch. Those steps make me lean even more in that direction.
Also, I am not an expert by any means, but aren't the red pipes in this picture http://www.pointpixels.com/4images/details.php?image_id=8072 meant to hold wires for a LIM/LSM?
*EDIT* Typo

Platinum has it's perks. So does living exactly 97.5 miles from King's Island and Cedar Point
Or they could be steps for an inclined launch, which seems most likely given the apex-looking section of LIM track in the staging area.
There is also a piece that resembles the cresting of a lift with those things in the middle of the track....

Ahh yes.. mission accomplished! I figured i could say something like that and stir up some commotion!
