Noises On MF

Has anyone experienced noises on the MF that just didn't *sound* right? I rode twice last year and heard nothing like this last weekend.

Immeadiately after topping the first hill, there were grinding (like bearings missing) and clicking noises. It was really disturbing....

This was in the back row of the 2nd car of the yellow train....

I noticed the sound from the queue line from the first couple trains of the day last Wednesday. It even looked like the train had slowed down too.

Actually now that I think about it I remember that it's the sound of the anti-rollbacks. They sometimes do that at the top of the hill.

Well, this year its red train which makes a little noise at the top. Notihng to worry about.

Yes, it is the anti-rollbacks. Nothing to worry about. Although it does scare a few unsuspecting riders...

You're probably thinking of the squeaking wheels.

I don't know if you can hear the squeaking of the wheels on the ride with the screaming and air flowing past your ears...unless you're trying to listen for the squeaking.

Befor the opening of MF, I remember being told, maybe on cedarpoint.com, that the lift would be silent. I was dissapointed to find out it was very loud.

It's not loud. The anti-rollbacks sometimes drag. It's never a long-term phenomenon.
