No Tim Hill Majic?

Anyone know why Tim Hill isn't performing his majic this year at Halloweekends? Chris Linn does a great job, but both are distinctly different performances. The Palace now has the Trio of Terror and Chris Linn moved up front to the Centennial.

Tim was not asked back by the park for this year.

That sucks, I liked his show a lot more. Chris' is good, but its more of a goofy kids show.

I would have to agree with that. Chris' show is very good and entertaining, but I like Tim Hill a whole lot better. It was better in previous years because you had Chris in the back of the park during the day, and then Tim at the front at night. I went and saw "the Black Cat" at the Palace and it just didn't do it. Hard to understand and hard to follow unless you are familiar with Poe's stories beforehand.

What happened to Aaron Radatz... haha!

I preferred the Tim Hill show too.

I also preferred Tim's show. But, there are only so many venues in the park. By moving the poetry readings to the Palace Theater, someone had to go. Seeing as how families are the ones likely spending the majority of the money at the parks, they probably made the right decision.

On a side note, I can't believe that no one has mentioned Joe's spelling of Magic in the thread's title.

I remember when Chris Lynn performed outside next to the Kiddy Kingdom entrance. Why not have Chris Lynn perform in the entrance area/ pre-show area of the Good Time Theater OR in the Extreme Stadium.

A larger production type magician show (ex: Tim Hill/Aaron Radatz) is a draw for some of us. Sad to see it go....

There's no heat in either of those venues. That's not very ideal this time of year.

Good eyes, Jason. I didn't catch it, and I wrote it. The WMJI radio station here in the Cleveland area refers themselves to Magic 105.7 and I must have been thinking of their call letters. My bad!!!

There was no heat when he performed outdoors next to Kiddy Kingdom (or in the Palace Theater.)

There is no heat while waiting in line for the numerous rides and attractions....

Honestly, I feel this is just another one of the Entertainment cut backs we saw this year. :(

If they didn't care about giving the entertainers heat, why did they bother moving the Poetry readings to Palace Theater?

I do recall someone giving a review of the Poetry readings in the Palace Theater and they said they had formed icicles from sitting there cause it was so cold. The Palace Theater does not have heat.

A 'bigger' production magician's show is probably just another of the many cuts we saw this year in the entertainment department. :(

I finally saw this years Chris Linn show Saturday. I found it to be quite funny. He does more comedy than magic. The presentations on the videos screens were funny. It was an entertaining show. When we went back a second time Sunday, the "volunteer" child from the audience was the same girl as the night before. She gave a different name this time. Does anyone know if this is his daughter? He did repeat some material from last years show.

At the Boo Buzz Q&A Saturday, I asked about Tim Hill. Basically, they said that Tim's show had run it's course.

I heard that Tim had another gig that conflicted with the CP show dates. I enjoy the Chris Lynn show, although it was a better fit at the Palace Theater.
