No more free lockers for steel vengeance?

I just found out this from a friend who was at the park the other day...later I called park operations to confirm and she said they removed the free lockers at SV. She wouldn't tell me why because she claimed she had no idea when I asked why, of course. Does anyone know why they did this?

I would call your friend and politely say;

ok so are they in use or not then?

Now I am confused. Miss Force says Park Ops must be lying but then Kevinj says that Miss Force is lying. So does that mean that Miss Force is really saying that Park Ops must be telling the truth?

Reminds me of the old puzzle in which the solution is "which way would the other guy tell me to go"

Kevin is being a darn troll! My original post was that my friend who was at the park the other day ride steel vengeance and told me they removed the free lockers. I just called to confirm this and the woman at park ops told me yes they removed the lockers and you have to use the pay ones. I then asked why and she said they had no idea. All I want is a simple answer, for anyone who has been to the park recently, can you confirm this? thank you.

You also removed one of your posts which takes away some of the context...and the humor, which is all that was. I didn't say you were lying, Miss Force, but your friend. (hence, "I would call your friend...").

Or maybe they were just drunk. Or on some kind of drug.

I'm also not suggesting you didn't call "park ops". If you did, I can only guess they were a little dumbfounded by the question itself and, given that they most likely deal with a myriad of strange questions per day, were simply trying to be polite.

So, allow me to be polite. From time to time, (power failures, technical issues, etc.) the free lockers are not available to use. They will tell guests at the entrance that they are not available. This does not mean they have been removed. I'm going to assume your friend, who may or my not be a liar, experienced such a moment in time.

I guess I'll never learn if SV lockers were permanently shut down and/or removed from the queue? No one else on here has been to the park in the last few weeks or months and rode steel vengeance?

Steel Vengeance lockers are available as usual

I was there in the 14th, and the free lockers were there and working fine.

I have also been there a couple of times over the years where technical issues prevented the lockers from being available. However, as of 4 days ago, everything was working.
