No early entry to Cedar Point in 2026 with a Gold Pass?

During my visit over Labor Day weekend, I found the exit with the red X open for exit only traffic, but what I did find annoying is that they seem to only have security for entry in the middle "portal." The result is a huge line at opening time for security that extends across the road and down that blue walkway toward the bus parking. In theory, if you are in preferred parking and want to walk in the front gate, you would have to walk past all of the people already waiting to get to the end of the line. We also chose to walk down the Beach to the Windseeker gate.

I propose that instead of (or in addition to) having a dedicated gate at the entrance to the park, they open up that right most portal as a security checkpoint to the Prestige holders that are parking over there. That would provide some real value. Heck just open it for anyone as a second security checkpoint. The main one has been too much of a bottleneck on busier days this season. It would only need to be open from say 9:30-11 or something and would make a huge difference.

Exactly, mallman. You now have 3 2026 Gold passes, all of which have the (for now) free all-park passports. I think that after the MVP sale ends, you will probably have to pay for the all-park passport when you buy a pass if that's what you want. Just be aware that a 2026 Gold pass with the all park passport added to it will NOT get you early entry in 2026. That is different from this year. Correct me if I am wrong on this.

I swear I looked on CP's website and couldn't find it, but does anyone know if there is early entry for Thursday nights at HalloWeekends? I'm probably missing it, but even doing a search didn't seem to bring back any info. Thanks!

Historically the answer has been yes, and I don't think there's any reason to think that'd be different this year. That has been a great time to be at the park.
