No Christmas Lights! Bummer!

The park was not lit up for Christmas this year! That was a major bummer. One of our holiday traditions is to view the lights of the park from the Jackson Street pier, and down on the Ogontz street turnaround.

He was talking about how CP turns on the ride lights again for the holiday. Not string lights that go on a tree.

Yeah, I agree it sure was a bummer not to see them. I've driven to the lake front for the past two years around Christmas to see Millennium, Giant Wheel, an all the other tall thrills of summer lit up like it was the middle of July.

Oh, I see.

It would be cool, if they let you drive around the Premiter Drive to let people see the lights.. Maybe energy costs were a little much this year..

But I do know Blue Streak has Christmas lights on the station... I've never seen them turned on for any other occasion..

I seen them nearly everyday this past summer... I would have loved to see them again.

Oh well, they are expensive to operate. I wouldn't be suprised if TTD's lights draw 500 amps off a 240 volt line.
