Night ride fog

Last night (6/18) we rode M.F. at about 10:15. About a third way up the hill, we ran into some fog and it looked really awesome because of the various colors that illuminated it. But when we started to descend down the hill, there was lot more fog and it was greatest drop of my life. It felt like we were going down into a colorful tunnel, I can't even begin to explain how it felt. I was just wondering though, if they added fog machines or something, because last night was not such a foggy/hazy night? Anybody else go last night?

It was smoke from the fireworks in the laser show. I've rode in that a few times.

Hmmm...? I guess that could explain it.

Oh boy, does this topic remind me of my best ever ride on The Force. It's first year, the very last day of the season we were in the station ready to board when they shut it down, I'm not sure why. We were sitting on the floor of the station and talking about all the good times we've had at The Point, when they opened it up again. By this time, it was extremely dark out, and the fog was rolling in off of the bay, mixing with the Halloweekends fog. Let me tell you, the first drop was better than a dream! Just pure colored fog, with no chance of seeing the ground. I've got goose bumps just remembering how awesome it was! Oh how I love The Force!

Yeah it was from the fireworks, that happened to me once this year.

It's also cool when there is a low cloud ceiling at night. The clouds get lit up as well.

Ha, why does it sound like one of Detroit's airports?

The new Midway Terminal, from what I hear, has a neat tunnel that gets you from (somewhere) to the terminal. The tunnel has all colored lights and fun stuff like that.

And They haven't used the same pattern twice.

MillenniumRider: MidWay is the city airport in

Chicago which Northwest dosn't fly there anymore!

:) Does This Explain It?
