night or day

Do you think Millennium Force is better at night or day? I like it at nght because you can't see where you're goin next.

I never rode it but alot of people like it better at night to.
I riddeni it at Dusk and at Dawn, and also at midnight. I prefer the night.

I prefer a VERY early morning ride.
We got alot of rides after dark at coastermania. Personally I enjoy the night rides the most. I guess its the thrill of not really knowing whats ahead of you.

Keep Arms Down......
Head Back......
And Hold On!!!!!!

I like night time better you don't know where you are going and what is going to happen next. Plus the lights on the ride go by so fast it makes it look like you'r going a lot faster then you are. One thing about riding at night is the bugs that are out by the water aways hit the rider.

Goodbye 2005 season!!!!

Front seat at night, best experience of my life, except for the bugs !!!

My best rides have always been at night usually in the front seat. MF just seems to have been made for the night. The big drop into pitch black nothingness. Plus on a night like during the last Coastermania with little or no moon and a clear sky the stars looked great during the climb up. It almost looks like you are getting ready for the jump into light speed. I guess they named it right seeing the intials and the first name match a certain spaceship from the Star Wars movies. *** Edited 9/28/2004 6:15:29 PM UTC by JimD007***

I like Millennium Force after it has been 90+ degrees all day and then cools off some in the evening. Millennium just flys then! Day or night does not mean as much to me as the weather does.

I like to ride at night in the back seat. It's great being whipped over that hill and then down into the darkness. However, one of the best rides I had was on a really foggy day earlier this year when you could not see the park or the lake from the top. It was cool looking around and just seeing fog (TTD in the fog was great to).

Sunset is the best! It's just too pretty on the way up the lift hill.

Anytime of the day is fine with me. All have their advantages (and disadvantages), you just have to accept the conditions at the time.

I really enjoy the night rides. Your flying and you can't see anything.
TWO thumbs way up.
I also think that each has its own set of unique advantages. However, I think that someone's first ever ride should be during the daytime, especially if you have never been on a coaster of this size before.

I remember waiting in line and looking at how much larger the lift hill got as I got closer to the station. Then, the view from the lift hill as you are going up for that first time is just incredible and very, very intimidating. Things definitely look a lot smaller from 300 feet up than they do from 100-150 feet! I think if you ride for the first time at night, you won't get the same perspective.

Too late.

I rode MF for the first time at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, and with nothing in front that you can see but the airplane light, it's a heck of a ride. (Not to mention the fog from the Fright Zone). Only a 15-min. wait, thanks to Freeway passes...

The obvious answer is "yes, anytime, thank you."
Yea they're both good for different reasons. I remember being surprised that there were no lights on the first drop the first time I rode at night. That was pretty sick the first time. On the other hand, without the visuals to go along with the ride, it doesn't really feel like you're going as fast as it does when you ride during the day.

I've only actually ridden it once at night, but night and day seem like two totally different ride experiences. It's fun at night with the lights and all but I also love looking out over the water during the day. Either way.

Magnum still rocks.

Am I the last of a dying breed that only likes it during the day? Sure the night time is fun as it makes for a great way to cap off a fun filled day at the park but those daytime rides are just the best. There's nothing like looking around the park at all the other rides from that height.

I personally dont care what time of day I ride Millennium Force, I just love to ride it. I think during the morning time is the best time to ride it because you can ride it like 2 or 3 times before everybody else gets the queue full. When it was down all day one time though I was able to ride it like 2 or 3 times in like five minutes. The reason was they opened right at like ten oclock.
