News: Web site update reveals 2006 changes

Despite the listing on the Getaway Guide map, the official word is that it will be called Macaroni's this year.

DBCP - under the quick service section, it says the menu will be posted shortly. Hofbrau had pizza, as I recall.

Breakwater Cafe was home to a Pizza Hut Express franchise license last season (and I believe 2004, as well). It seemed to be a surprise to many guests upon learning this, though. Perhaps the park is listing it as "new" as a way to better promote the well-known, brand-name pizza.

As for Hotel Breakers also picking up the Pizza Hut brand, I'm saddened by this news. I personally thought that the "Cedar Point" brand of pizza served at Mama Chetta's was much better than the pile of grease that is a Pizza Hut pan pizza. Nothing beat a Garden Pizza from Chetta's.

Yes, and we all know Lotsapalooza is back now. And I have heard its bigger too. But there might be another two shops that are new, and I can wait to see what one of them will look like;)

The Pizza Hut pizza that I ordered last season was awful. Barely cooked, too much cheese, soggy..... gross. And what was even worse was how much I was looking forward to it. All I had had that day was an elephant ear in the mid afternoon. The park closed at 8 so we went back to our cabin and ordered. It was going to take 45 minutes so I took a nice walk on the boardwalk (which is a lot longer than I thought). I walked the entire thing, from Lighthouse Point to Wicked Twister (in flip flops, bad idea). When I got back I was so hungry. When it got there I had never been so disappointed in my life.

Maybe Hurricane Hannah's will have beer, though they seem to be getting rid of walk up beer sales. Remember back in the day when Sky Ride Refreshments used to have beer taps, and they had the beer truck on the Midway under the Corkscrew?
