"It's euphoria," Goodman said. "The endorphins start to kick in. For me, it's the Fountain of Youth. As you get older and you stop doing something, you can never go back. I don't intend on stopping."
This is what I've been saying for quite some time. When I come home after spending a day riding coasters, my husband insists I look ten years younger.
I've still got 25 years to catch up to Mr. Goodman, but I have no intentions of giving up coasters as I get older.
I'd rather die living than live like I'm dead

One question, though... 7 hours for Dragster??? Thats gotta be a record, right?
7 hours = opening day 03. Lines for everything else were pretty much dead that day ;).
Good luck to Mr. Goodman, that's quite a task.

See all you young people out there.....Those of us in age do like to have fun too! The greatest Thrill I had last year was when my wife and I took our Twin Grand Children to Cedar Point. They turned 14 and we took them for a weekend there. I knew right off the bat that I wanted to ride Top Thrill Dragster. It was one of the best experiences in my life. My grandson and I rode together and my wife and granddaughter were in back of us.
Thank you for the article Walt. As you can see I am new here. So hello to all.
Thanks coasterking39. Its nice to be able to have a forum to talk about our favorite place. Cedar Point. We started the tradition of taking each grandkid to Cedar Point since 1969. Its funny...When we took the first one the line at the Cedar Creek Mine Ride is equivalent to what you see now days with MaxAir and Top Thrill Dragster!! We have tried to go every year since then! We still Ride every Ride! We love it! Although we don't "run" to the rides as they open but.....we get in line to ride them.
I don't mind answering how young I am. I am proud to say that this year I will be turning 80. I might be the oldest person here in physical age. I am still a 16 year old kid with no fear when we go to Cedar Point. My wife and I made a promise that when we both turn 100 we still plan to go to Cedar Point and We want to celebrate our Birthdays by being the first riders on the newest and biggest ride!
