"There's a right of passage in riding your first coaster, since they're somewhat gentler than your twirling, whirling zooming steel coasters. They're the first coaster experience for a lot of people."
YEAAAA, ok.
Genler than your twirling, whirling zooming steel coasters?
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Once again we're planning to demolish Mean Streak, eh?;) And who said White Water Landing was taken out because of low ridership? I believe there will be a new flume ride or something similar to replace WWL in the next few years, maybe even '07:). Is this article a possible hint that Cedar Point will be getting another wood coaster soon? I think most people would love to see a Gravity Group or Great Coasters Int'l creation at Cedar Point in the near future. I would love to see Worlds of Fun FINALLY get another woodie. It's been almost twenty years since Timber Wolf was built. The article makes me think that some of the newly acquired Paramount parks are being looked at for woodies as well. I think Cedar Fair is looking closely at all the financial mistakes Six Flags has made as well as what they can do with their own parks, and wood is a good way to go for both the company and the public.
