And, if you forget to pay the bill you will end up at the bottom of the catch pool in cement shoes.

"The $1.5 million indoor waterpark and improvements slated for Quality Inn & Suites will feature a 50-foot tower with two slides -- 275 feet and 251 feet -- in addition to an indoor water play structure."

Does this sentence not make sense to anyone else?

Jeff Young

It's a 50-foot-tall tower with two slides - 275 feet and 251 feet - in length. :)

Ah....I'm an idiot. :)

Kind of upsets me. When it was Greentree, I could get a room for $50-60 bucks any night other than saturday. The last two years that went up to $99. Now they add another $20! This hotel must use GAS! 100% increase in 3 years.

I hope the new bar they are building is a little like the old Johnny Angels at the Greentree. That place was fun!

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

They have a restaurant in town called The 800 club, its kind of by battery park, but in town enough that most people cant find it unless you live in sandusky. Anyway, every time I've ever been there, there have always been 3 or 4 completely like presidential tinted unmarked black vans sitting in the very far corner of the parking lot. They mean business. But don't get me wrong, the foods great. Even if it wasnt I wouldn't badmouth them.

Oh by the way. If any of you were on the beach watching the fireworks in the 4th of July, and saw that fireworks display that was just down the road from CP that lasted a very long time, that was his.

Hey you said it. ;)

Anyway could you just imagine a 275' tall water slide? Think of the wedgie that would give you. :)

I was thinking more of the name they'd have to give one that tall. The 'Heart Attack' or 'The Stroke' would come to mind, considering how many stairs would be needed to get people that high.

When we lived in Sandusky my wife and I were card carrying members of the 800 Club. Good food and better drinks. We were "groupies" of Lee and Joel who used to play there regularly.
