News: Skyhawk part being replaced; should be running later this week

I hate to do a webcam play by play. But, we may have been a little hasty. It appears as if people are just standing in line, but not actualy getting to ride.

Looks like they are firing back up. It was running (with people) and then it stopped for a bit (probably checking on some systems with the replaced part) and now it looks like the line is reopened and people are getting on.

I've been watchin the cam. The beast is running!! Good to see!!!

That was an awesome ride. I hope it's open for my birthday this Fri. (thirteenth :) ) It was WAYYY too short. It was still good, but would be much better if it were longer.

It's still running. Good to see it back up. Hopefully this will be the only "major" downtime it has.

i was there earlier (first ride back up) ya and everything is smooth sailing since 6:45 tonight. So yay, we can all have fun now with something new at CP

I found a video of the Skyhawk in free swing. The person on the anouncer seems to be pretty funny.

Yep, its official. Skyhawk was up this afternoon, then down, and then up. Finally it started running normal at about 6. According to park ops, it wasn't going to open today, but hey must have gotten the part earlier then expected.
