I would participate in this event every year if it were on a weekend. With only 2 weeks of vacation a year, I can't afford to take a day off for this event.

Got my invite yesterday.

This will be my 3'rd year attending.

I highly recommend it. Always a good time. You never know who could end up on your team (if you go at it alone that is). Heck I got to play with Don Miears a few years back.

The golf is mediocre, but the after party is chock full of ass kickery.

LOL. The first time I read that I thought it said "ass kissery".

Is it an invite only event, or can anyone sign up? I don't remember from reading about it in years past.

It's open to anyone, but does cost money. I remember it used to be 25 dollars a person, but seem to remember it went up to somewhere around 40-50 dollars in recent years.

Like Jeff said, most of the fun is afterwards. They raffle off some nice prizes, have some food, and even open the go karts.

It is a great time and is a great excuse to play some mini-golf and visit the park during the week.

I'll be there for the 5th year in a row.

I'm pretty sure the party I'm talking about doesn't take place at the park.
