Woot, I'm quoted in the article, and they didn't make me sound too dumb. :)

Hm. If B&M is the Cadillac of coasters, what would that make Intamin?

2010 - Season pass holder.
I'd say Intamin would be the Toyota of Coasters...
Fool's everyone into thinking they are awesome coasters with no down time, but does not shift into 2nd or 4th gear on their flagship ride.

I was thinking - I wonder if those "kiddie cages" they have at PKI (and maybe other Parmount Parks too - I can't remember) will continue after Cedar Fair takes over? :)
I think CP's parent swap policy works pretty well, but it's been pointed out before that it doesn't do much for the single parent. Then again, I kind of think putting your kid in a cage - maybe even with another kid or two - while you go ride isn't the greatest of ideas either! :)

Hmmm if B&M are the cadillac of coasters. Then why hasn't CP built more. That Kia comment is hilarious. KIA stand for Killed In Action, which happens to TTD when it runs.

I was very pleased to hear that CF had acquired PKI because I thought that now CP could go ahead and keep building the real thrillers and not worry *so much* about family rides because PKI is just a short ways away. Instead of trying to appeal to everyone and possibly doing a poor job of it, each park can just keep building at what it's good at. That seems to be the best idea for me, anyways.
