I just got an e-mail from Jonathan Hymes, the regional rep for region #10. He confifmed that they are trying to have the Little Dipper Dedication on Sunday June 4th after CP on Fri and GL on Sat.

Going for sure...
I just called to reservations for prices.
Breakers Express: $54 +tax for one night. 2 queen beds
Breakers on property: $158 +tax 1 night in the newer section 2 queen beds
$120 +tax 1night in the historical section. 2 queen beds
Not bad... Altough I kind of want to stay in the historical section for the view!
Thank you very much for posting this! I have been looking for details and not having any luck...and the CP employees at the hotel reservations claim that they don't get this info until late feb. or mar.!!
I've been getting the newsletter for a while, but this is my first post, obviously...and the reason I'm posting (besides the thank you) is because I just cannot understand why the 2 best coasters in the park, plus the new ride, share ert times!?! I know they split up the riders that way, but it's a bummer! On top of that, I really believe MF ert should be at night - when it's meant to be!! :)
Sorry for the complaint...I just hope someone from Cedar Point that can do something about this reads this - I can always hope, right?!
To answer the question about walk-ons, I've been going to coastermania for 9 years, I believe (I'd have to count my buttons) and the only time I've experienced walk-ons is on Magnum late at night. Never on MF or Dragster - not even close! And I'm one to be there all 18 hours (no naps for me - though I used to do the imax movie - boohoo on losing it!) - or more if I'm able to get back in line right before close, of course. Disclaimer - there may have been walk-ons at the Disaster Transport ert - I didn't check that one... :)
Thanks,

I have had walk-ons on MF and Dragster as a guest. Maggie is easy to get walk-ons in May or September.
You just have to know the right time to go. And summer isn't one of those times if you want to avoid lines. Try early or late season if you want to avoid crowds.

Anyone think that If I'm towards the front of the line to get in the gates that I'll have a chance to catch a quick ride (10/15 min wait) on MF before going back to Skyhawk, hopefully for the first Coaster Mania ride? If not, then MF can wait.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
That depends on many things...one of which (the BIG one) is the weather.
But, I'd say you would have an excellent chance of having a good time, regardless of Coarstermania wait times.

Mmm, I'm thinking about going this year. Although its on a school day, its super close to the end of the year. We're supposed to be moving things to the new high school towards the end of the year, so me and my friend shouldn't be too missed. ;)
This ERT time looks amazing, 17 hours of fun!
More of an off topic question, but if I join Coaster Buzz, how will I have proof of membership? And, since my friend does not belong to any club, but owns a season pass, he can still use his pass, right?
2012 - Magnum XL 200 Crew
^ You'll have a membership card from CoasterBuzz.
One season pass will get you one admission.

You'll learn more outside of the classroom than you'll ever learn in it.

About the photo contest. Can you submit more than one photo? It doesn't specificaly say you can't enter more than one photo. I'm having a hard time deciding which to enter. I have over 1000 photos to choose from and have narrowed it down to a few. In case only one can be submitted, I'd take any opinions as to which I should submit.

I like the first Iron Dragon and the Millennium Force one. The MF one more, though. So mysterious and compelling... it goes into the sky...

Anyway, that Friday is a school day, but hey- if the parents give me permission, then I can blow the day off. Alright. The way things are going, I'll probably get to go. Yay. First coaster event.

I was one of the winners of the photo contest last year. I won with an Iron Dragon photo. Personally, I think it's the most photogenic coaster in the park. The fountain right in front just begs for pictures to be taken.

Oops, I'm sorry for not being more clear - I was only talking about walk-ons during ert at coastermania, I thought that's what the person asking the question was asking about.
Oh, and the person asking about which photo to submit, I also second the opinion to submit the MF one - very cool, mysterious was a good word, plus the iron dragon one won last year so that might decrease its chances this year. IMHO!
That is somewhat similar to my second photo. I was going to submit that one, but since it was last years winner, I may need to reconsider.
Thanks for your opinions everyone. :)

There were 5 winners last year, and at least three of them were Iron Dragon pictures. Keep that in mind as well. I have my picture picked out for the contest already, but that's a closely guarded secret! :)

as I did last year I will be attending again except this time I will be at EXT as well

Hmmmm....If I get a CBuzz membership I'll be going. In the meantime, I'd like to know what you all think is the better picture for each pair.

By the way, I have like 6 other pics I could use. You don't think I would let you guys (and gals) see them all, do you? :) *** Edited 1/25/2006 3:16:43 AM UTC by BlueStreak64***

Well seing as how the first 2 are of Maxair I wouldn't use them. This is a Roller Coaster photo contest. That being said, I like the first picture of each pair.
