Is the company that is doing the july 4th fireworks show the same one that did the fireworks on opening day? Because I thought the fireworks on opening day were great.

Imagine your favorite tv show. You've been through it all. The ups, the downs, the crazy coincidences and then bang! They tell you what it's all about. Would you be happy? Does it make sense? How come it all ended in a church? - Joker
Yes, it is the same company. But, this year's Opening Day fireworks weren't nearly as good as fireworks have been at the park in the past. Last year's Opening Day and July 4th fireworks were great!

I'm pretty sure they are the company that does the Freedom Festival (now known as Windsor Summerfest) fireworks, or Target Fireworks tomorrow night on the Detroit river.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
From what I understand they're also the same company that does the Columbus fireworks.

Vince, its still known as the International Freedom Festival on the right side of the river. (Although your rules on drinking in gentlemanly establishments are decidedly better than they are over here.)
Goodbye MrScott

If you mean right as correct, I think you are wrong. The right side of the border is left, if you are facing west. ;)
As for the gentlymanly establishments, I have to wait another year to enjoy those. It was funny because on my last trip I was wearing a Canada shirt and the park employee at the food near Raptor asked where I was from. I said Windsor and his eyes got big as if he just received a great gift. I said "you've heard of it?" and he gave a big grin and nodded. He said "when you're 19 and work at CP, its great to have a place only a couple of hours away where we can drink and party legally." Living here I don't think of our downtown as that great, but for you Americans who have to wait the additional 2 years, I guess we look pretty good here on the correct side. ;)
DISCLAIMER: Probably my most confusing post ever, I hope it it a bit understandable. As long as John can understand, I've completed my objective. I seem to be the resident Canadian poster and Jugga is the resident 'American who pokes fun at Canadians.'

Yeah. If you are standing on the bridge looking down the river facing towards the Ren Cen and Windsor Casino, The 'D' is on the left and the 'W' is on the right, right? ;)

I poke fun at Canadians in a fun sort of way. In fact, if it wasn't for your tax system I wouldn't mind living there.
I think I only made it to Canada a couple times before turning 21, both times to Casino Windsor. The Tunnel Barbeque was an excellent place to eat.
Since 21 though, I've been over more. Mostly for the ballet.
Goodbye MrScott
