I overheard several people talking about the lower prices yesterday. I was surprised that that many folks noticed!
I *still* haven't seen a cotton candy cart anywhere, but plenty of people had it from window service locations.
The only time I saw the carts when I was there was Sunday. As they were wheeling empty carts across the park. Not sure where they came from or where they were going to. I figured the lack of carts on our trip was due to the rain, but apparently they've been skimping on the carts completely. I wonder if its a staffing issue.

We didn't see one cart on thursday, and I wondered if they were only bringing them out on weekends.
I have to agree it's a bit disappointing to know there is 25 cent cotton candy but you have to search for a window service location in order to get it.
There is one by the Space Spiral as well as the one in the front of the park (next to Centennial Theatre).

My wife and I went Saturday night and we couldn't find a cart either, we were pretty bummed.
I didn't see as many people eating cotton candy on the midways as I did opening weekend. Are there any other locations for cotton candy besides the two VeryOldButAwesomeCPer mentioned?

After three visits this year, I still have not seen one cart. Doesn't make too much sense to pay for an advertising campaign that is centered around price cuts and cheap cotton candy and then make it hard to buy.
I went the first monday the park was open and for 2 days, I saw only 1 cart. Its location was near Skyhawk/ Town hall/Mine Ride. It was in that general location
Rob, there's also a place by the Elephant ears just on the FT side of the gemini RR crossing.
ETA: I haven't been there this year, so don't know if they still have it; it was there bagged last year.

I was there May 19-21 and never saw ANY even being eaten, let alone sold. I don't (and didn't) get it.

Considering the weather up until this weekend it wouldn't surprised me if they pulled the carts off the midway. Here in NE Indiana it was nothing but rain, rain, rain for days on end. If it was like that at the park I would suspect that there wouldn't be any carts out on the midway, seeing as they aren't covered.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
I also was there May 19-21 and I never saw a cart either... Although MrScott must not have seen me because I ate 4 sticks over the course of the weekend from the window vendors. I was very impressed by the portion....

Of all the times I've been there this year, I have yet to see a 25 cent cotten candy stand. Excluding the window services.

The most talked-about addition at Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio isn't the supersized swing that catapults thrill seekers 125 feet into the air.
