Is it possible that it's not Cedar Fair that's selling the Chaos units?

Let the record reflect that I nailed it. Bwah hah hah.

Good to hear. Great ride to look at and go on in my opinion. I have to say it wasn't a shocker to hear that it was selling initially. I'm actually more surprised to hear it isn't selling.

Thrills Around the Corner!

Yeah, I somewhat questioned whether that image was just being used for the purpose of advertising... Glad to hear it's not leaving.

Perhaps I'll give it another chance instead of just passing it up whenever Im heading over to Wicked Twister. I feel I was denyed an awsome ride when I was on it in 04.

I have no opinion whether it stays or sells, so i'll leave my no opinion to myself :)

I only rode it about 4 times, because my son got bored of riding it alone.

It doesn't thrill me, looks neat, but no excitement when I am on it.

But, I was interested when I heard the rumor it was leaving, glad it is not, now my son can still ride it.

I figured that the images provided to that website were provided by the seller, not something that IRM put with each listing.

Goodbye MrScott

John

I was hoping that they would get rid of that ride, I guess I'll have to bear with it for longer. *** Edited 12/20/2006 12:03:59 AM UTC by Jump to Conclusions***

Yeah, you would think one might advertise with an image of the actual unit that is for sale...

Could be equivalent of car dealers using "Stock Photos" in ads. Tack on a picture of the $30,000 luxury model to sell the beat-up used base model. It sells.

The funny thing to me is that it's not even a picture of when Chaos was new. It's at least 6 years old based on the fact that the picture is showing it in it's current location.

They must have thought Cedar Point had the purtiest location. Which it does.

They did spend quite a bit of money on paint and the lit backdrop. Plus it's got the castle behind it.

Cedar Point has a castle? :)

I call it that because it's the the best way to describe it as a landmark. I worked for the company for years and gave directions more times than I'd like to admit.

Those poor people who never found the castle... ;)

That also means that if they asked me for directions on how to go to Park Operations to complain about me, they would never find it. :)

Did you tell them, "Castles don't have phones, a**hole?"
