I've never really had a problem with Cedar Point tickets prices. Especially season pass prices... My problem has always been with food, which they seem to be taking care of this year. I hope it works.
The on-point hotel's are also a bit much. Places like Breakers Express always seem to be on the level as are the remaining h/motels. But Hotel Breakers is too much, in the old wing anyway.
Location, location, location. That sums up the hotel prices...even in the older rooms.

Its the same in Orlando, you'll pay more for a monorail hotel than you will for say Caribbean Beach, than you will for the off property Hilton. Its all about location.

Rightfully so. I think staying on-property gives a plethora of advantages, aside from the picturesque locale. It adds conveniences as well as a bit more of a removed feeling for your vacation. I miss camping on Point before the urban sprawl that has occurred back there. (i.e. pre-Maggie)

Oh I completly understand the advantages. But the price is still a little steep for what it is.
Unless a major over haul has taken place, the rooms in the old wing of Breakers are way to small for the price.
I just think that the ticket prices could have stayed where they were while food and accomadations came down in price.
If the hotel rooms weren't being filled maybe you would have seen an adjustment in price. The fact of the matter is that people are still willing to pay a pretty steep price to stay on the peninsula....no matter the size of the room.
